Lions Mane "Chicken Nuggets"
Ingredients
1 Pound Lions Mane Mushrooms
2 Large Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup of Panko (optional)
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne
1 tsp Pepper
3-4 Cups of Frying Oil
🔪 Prep Steps
- Mushrooms: Slice Lions Mane into bite size pieces (about half inch thick)
- Eggs: Whisk in a bowl
- Spices: Mix all spices and flour together in a separate bowl.
- Oil: Heat Oil in a pot suitable for frying. (between 350°F and 375°F)
🍳 Cooking Instructions
- Take Lions Mane pieces and toss into egg bowl. Evenly coat all of the mushrooms.
- Toss coated Lions Mane pieces into flour mixture with spices.
- Add to Oil for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
- Freeze any leftovers and reheat at 350°F in air fryer or oven.
