At Deep Creek Mushrooms, we stand behind the quality of our products. Because many of our items are consumable, cultivation-based, or biologically active in nature, please review this policy carefully before purchasing.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. All Sales Final on Consumable Products
Due to health, safety, and regulatory standards:
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:

Dried mushroom products

Any ingestible or consumable product
We do not accept returns based on:

Taste preference

Perceived lack of effectiveness

Personal health outcomes

Change of mind

Improper storage or handling
If a consumable product arrives damaged (leakage, broken seal, incorrect item), you must contact us within 7 days of confirmed delivery with clear photo documentation. Approved claims may receive a replacement or refund at our discretion.
2. Mushroom Grow Kits – Limited Viability Guarantee
Our grow kits are inspected and guaranteed viable at the time of shipment.
To qualify for review:

You must contact us within 15 days of delivery

Provide clear photos of the issue

Follow all included instructions
Mushroom cultivation depends on environmental conditions including humidity, temperature, sanitation, and airflow, which are outside our control.
We do not guarantee:

Specific yield amounts
-
Growth timelines
-
Cultivation success under improper conditions
Failure due to contamination, improper technique, environmental conditions, or failure to follow instructions is not grounds for refund.
Approved claims may receive a one-time replacement at our discretion.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

Notify us within 7 days of delivery

The packaging

The shipping label

Claims submitted without documentation or outside the 7-day window may be denied.
Approved claims may receive a replacement or refund at our discretion.
4. Exchanges
Exchanges may be considered for eligible items if:

Requested within 7 days of delivery

Item is unused and in original packaging

Written authorization is provided
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was ours.
We reserve the right to deny exchange requests at our discretion.
5. Subscriptions
By enrolling in a bi-weekly or monthly subscription, you authorize automatic recurring billing.
You are responsible for managing your subscription through your account portal prior to your renewal date.

Orders that have processed cannot be canceled.

No refunds are provided for processed subscription orders.

Failure to cancel before billing does not qualify for refund.

6. Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped via third-party carriers.
Once tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, the order is considered fulfilled.
Deep Creek Mushrooms is not responsible for:

Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery

Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer

Carrier delays or transit issues
Customers must pursue stolen package claims with the shipping carrier. We may assist at our discretion.
7. No Guarantees of Results
We do not guarantee:

Specific health benefits

Supplement effectiveness
-
Yield size
-
Growth success
-
Personal satisfaction
Results vary based on individual biology and environmental factors.
Perceived lack of effectiveness or unsuccessful grow attempts are not grounds for refunds or chargebacks.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
We are committed to resolving concerns fairly.
Before initiating a chargeback, you agree to contact us to attempt resolution.
If a dispute is filed, we reserve the right to submit:

Delivery confirmation

Billing and shipping verification

IP address records
-
Subscription authorization logs

Communication history
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in refusal of future service.
Filing a chargeback does not override this policy.
